How refunds work.
Clear, customer-first rules for when refunds apply and how to request one. Read alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This policy covers all paid services purchased on grehyug.com or via our WhatsApp business channel — including AI-assisted layout generation, the Premium Concept Book, sanctioned-plan add-ons, walkthrough videos, and any other paid digital deliverables. Free-tier outputs (the basic AI layout PDF) are not subject to refund since no payment was made.
2. Cancellation window
You may cancel any paid order at any time before the deliverable has been generated by sending us a cancellation request through the channels in section 7. If the underlying AI generation, video render, or document compilation has not yet started, we will issue a full refund.
3. Refund-eligible scenarios
We will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:
- Technical failure on our side: the deliverable could not be generated or could not be delivered due to a verifiable system error and our team cannot regenerate it within 7 days.
- Duplicate payment: you were charged twice for the same order — the duplicate amount will be reversed.
- Wrong-tier purchase: you accidentally purchased the wrong tier (e.g. Premium when you wanted Standard) and the higher-tier deliverables have not yet been generated. We will refund the difference.
- Service unavailable in your jurisdiction: you purchased a feature that turns out to be unsupported for your specific pincode/jurisdiction (rare; flagged before checkout where possible). Full refund.
- Promised output not delivered: a clearly-promised deliverable from the tier description was not provided in your final delivery.
4. Non-refundable scenarios
GrehYug delivers AI-assisted concept-layout drafts and design helpers — products that, once generated and delivered, cannot be “returned.” The following situations are not eligible for refund:
- The deliverable (PDF, DXF, video, concept book) has already been generated and delivered, regardless of whether you have downloaded or used it.
- You change your mind after the layout, video, or document has been produced and delivered.
- The aesthetic / Vastu / room-arrangement output does not match your personal taste — every variant is generated according to clearly-stated rules and Vastu scoring; preference-based dissatisfaction is not a refund ground.
- A licensed architect, structural engineer, or local authority subsequently modifies, re-draws, or rejects the concept layout in their professional review. GrehYug’s outputs are explicitly conceptual drafts and require professional review (see Terms §3) — review-driven changes are part of the workflow, not a defect.
- Your municipal authority does not approve a layout based directly on our concept output. Our drafts are not sanctioned drawings; sanction requires a licensed architect’s seal.
- You ordered a deliverable for the wrong plot dimensions, facing, BHK, or jurisdiction. Re-running with corrected inputs is a new order at full price.
5. Refund window
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the original payment date. Requests after this window will not be considered, except in the case of a verified technical failure on our side.
6. Refund processing time
When we approve a refund:
- We initiate the refund through Razorpay (our payment gateway) within 2 business days of approval.
- Razorpay then processes the reversal to your original payment method (UPI, card, net-banking, or wallet).
- Bank-side reversal typically takes 5–7 working days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.
- For UPI / wallet refunds, reversal is usually faster (1–3 working days).
Total elapsed time from approval to credit: typically 7–10 working days. We share the Razorpay reference number with you so you can track the reversal with your bank if needed.
7. How to request a refund or cancellation
Send a refund or cancellation request to our support team with the following details: payment reference / order ID, the email and phone used for the order, your plot specifications, and the reason for the request.

We respond to refund requests within 2 business days with either an approval, a clarifying question, or an explanation of why the request is not eligible per this policy.
8. Disputes & escalation
If you disagree with our refund decision, reply on the same email thread requesting a human review. We will assign a senior team member to re-evaluate within 5 working days. Razorpay-side disputes (chargeback / customer-bank dispute) may be filed independently with your bank or via the Razorpay customer support flow, but we ask that you contact us first so we can resolve directly.
9. Governing law
This refund policy is governed by the laws of India and is read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Any dispute arising from a refund request shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this refund policy as our product offering evolves. The version applicable to your purchase is the one in effect on the date of payment. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “last updated” date in the page header.
